Therapeutic products using BDNF for periodontal disease
We have been developing these products with DENTSPLY international Inc (U.S.A.). We have gained the fixed research fund for 5 years, and already signed up an agreement for the royalty after commercializing and selling. Researches have reported that BDNF promote the parodontium regeneration. Now we are researching a new treatment for periodontal disease. The new treatment is to mix BDNF with carriers and replant them@into destroyed parodontium. Periodontal disease is reportedly a common disease that 80% people over 30 years old suffer from. This disease deteriorates your parodontium such as periodontal ligaments and alveolar bones.

We newly-developed serum-free culture medium for the human MSC, which doesnft contain the animal serum, and has a high level safety because it is free from BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy).
STK2 TM allows cells to proliferate much more than the commercial serum-free culture medium, and is available for cell culture (ex. COS7, C2C12, 10T1/2, CHO).
NNK2TM contains the bactericidal peptide. That helps us cultivate without antibacterial agent.
‡AAnti-Bacterial Peptides
These are the synthesized peptides based on the Anti- bacterial peptides from mammals, and have three advantages. 1)These peptides have as much antibacterial spectrum as antifungal compound (athletefs foot remedy is representative) does, 2) have less cell toxicity than antifungal compound does, 3) have less opportunities for emergence of resistant bacteria than antifungal compound does. Also, in the cell culture field, these peptides have its own advantage that these help greatly promote the cell growth and cell ossification. These advantages are seen only in these peptides, not in any other commercial antibacterial agents.
